I am a FREEDOM WRITER!!
I write for the single mother , with two kids to support, strugglign to make ends meet; kids to go to school, bills to pay, and put food on the table. she fight her own ineer battles, struggles with insecurities, has issues with acceptance, and a lack of faith... but still she finds the strenght to smile for the sake of her kids...
I write for her, so you can see...
I write for the pregnant teenager, who at 17 years old, struggles with the fact that she is pregnant for her step-father, i tell her story, not in so many words, but just enough so you can feel her pain. Hell is a place she has to call home. Shes never alone, but shes always lonely. Shes always crying but her tears never show, shes always hurting but no-one sees her pain. The faces of those who add to her pain, because blinded by ignorance they critique her because they dont understand her.
i write for her, to help you understand....
I write for the loveless child, who grew up too soon, on her parent riches. She got everything but the essential, so she grew up corrupted by the pain she felt, and the things ahe couldnt understand. using money to fill an unfillable gap, she hides the paim, and cries only to her own reflection. No-one will evr see her tears, because in her heart no-one will truly understand them...and she knows she has no REAL friends.

I write for that baby boy...two days old, lying there in an incubator, dying of AIDS. I write for him because no-one can hear his voice. i write for him because he wants you to understand that he needs comfort, and that even though he lays there motionless, hes not dead. I write because he knows the doctors are doing there best, but he knows they cant save him. I write because he wants his mother to know that he forgives her for need to get "high" off an infected needle. I write for him because he doesnt have much time, and he wants you to know that even though he might not be able to live out his dreams, you can!!
I write for him, so you can feel his fear, and see his acceptance...
I write for this FREEDOM WRITER, boundertied by the fact that all she can do is write, and hope that this message finds its way to your heart. I pray that by reading this you will understand that their pain is as real as yours and mine, and they need our help. There are so many more unmentioned and I may only be able to write, but you may be able to do so much more. My wish is that you too may become a vector of hope... that you will help me, help others see their pain and their need to call themselves SURVIVORS!!
